What is the purpose of refrigerating devices? Can I refrigerate or freeze the products by using these devices?Open or Close
Refrigerating devices are designed only to save the temperature of cold products. It is not possible to refrigerate or freeze the products in exterior temperature by using these devices.

Unit should not be run while loading as running unit makes the entrance of exterior temperature (temperature and humidity) easier to inside the case.

What is the operating voltage of air conditioning units for rail systems? Open or Close
Operating voltage of air conditioning for rail systems is 380 VAC / 3 FAZ / 50 Hz. However, the existing voltages in the vehicles are 750 VDC, 1000 VDC and 1500 VDC, which are received from third rail or catenary. Therefore, it is necessary to generate stabile supply voltage by providing required voltage alternation with the inverter + chopper system that are used.

However, in case that there is no extra demands, by taking EN 14750 – 1 ve EN 14813 – 1 standard which is determined for both passenger air conditioning unit and driver cabin air conditioning unit as a basis, and on condition that it is complied with temperature regulation curve, and that no damage is given to human health, the design is developed to reach 6-8 °C temperature difference.

It is International Railway Industry Standard. There are only 5 companies having this Certificate in Turkey and our company is the only company which received this Certificate in the field of air conditioning.

Why is having IRIS Certificate necessary?Open or Close
International railway industry standard IRIS becomes a compulsory document for railway biddings in Turkey just as it is in abroad; it was published in the the 6c clause of 27628 numbered official gazette and entered into force on July 1, 2010. In accordance with this Regulation, as it is specified in the article 6c with regard to “TECHNICAL ACCEPTANCE OF FREIGHT CAR AND WAGON MAJOR COMPONENTS”, “the copy of original document or institution-approved document of ISO 9001 or IRIS quality management system certificate” is demanded by the General Directorate of Turkish State Railways as an official document required for bidding.In the European Union accession process, international companies and operational institutions demand IRIS Quality Management Certificate from sub-suppliers and producers as a compulsory client requirement for their biddings. Through the development process, companies that do not have this Certificate cannot sell their products to the main railway producers and participate to the biddings in the very near future.
